In «Kids Residence» the children are cared for in age-differentiated groups. This gives us two things. First, we meet the individual needs and the rate of development of children appropriately. Secondly, the early childhood education can be more targeted and age-appropriate. In mixed group activities and group excursions, both big and small children can learn from each other and develop a sense of community.
Early-Learners 1. – 2.
Babies are particularly dependent on familiar caregivers. Our specially trained teachers give them safety and security and support the individual sleep and nutrition rhythms. In specially designed rooms for babies, important sensory experiences such as smell, taste, sight, hearing and touch are emphasized. In addition, they are encouraged musically and linguistically at «Kids Residence».
Pre-Schoolers 1.- 2.
In the second and third year of life, children are working tirelessly on their mobility skills, motor skills, balance and coordination. They jump, climb, run, dance and make music. Moreover, they knead, paint, plant and experiment with enthusiasm. Small children are happy about any improvement of their skills and realize: «The more independent I become, the more new experiences I can make.» In «Kids Residence» we promote music, speech, movement, creativity and independence. The children learn to eat by themselves, to brush their own teeth and put on their clothes and shoes. With greater self-help skills, experience and motivation can promote taking on new challenges.
«Discovering» and «Trying» is the key to successful learning. That’s why, we encourage children to try new things everyday. In Kids Residence» they get the space and time needed. Interesting topics such as circus, animals, museums, professions and seasons are combined with a interesting vocabulary of shapes, colors, letters and numbers. The children follow their interests by painting and crafting. They dress up for role-plays and build blocks together. At this age, the children make important experiences with mathematics in a playful way. They learn that a number can be different in size and that it is possible to enlarge the amounts to shrink and share. Very important at this age is that the children go swimming, try new sports, try interesting musical instruments and discover the computer.
